Hey folks, I saw this video whilst looking up some things and thought it was pretty interesting. Maybe one day I'll be that fast too! :D

So now and again I play 4v4 as a kind of warm up. I got into Diamond in it and all I ever come across is total asshats. Wtf is with that?

Update changes
So it's been a while, but I've been trying to figure out this new update. They made infesters slower which makes sense to me to be honest, it's not such a bad thing. But the big thing which has started to confuse me is the protoss warpgate times. They made some of the units take longer to build which makes it a lot harder for me to judge what build protoss is going... Making me lose. A lot. I believe this is why I haven't quite yet made it to Diamond.. Grrr.. Or at least that's what I want to blame it on...
GRRRRRRRRR!
GRRRRRRRRR!

Does this count?
Hello again!
It's been a short while since I posted. I've been writing some music and also playing a lot. I've mostly been playing 2v2's with people I've met on the ladder.
It's interesting how quickly you build a small community through the ladder. Some people are chatty, some people aren't at all. It's nice to find the people who are in the middle. It's given me some practice partners which is nice.
I've been having trouble with Marine/Tank slow pushes... HowtheF--- do I compete with that?! So annoying.
I've hit Master league with one of my new friend-list buddies. He's master 1v1, no need to say he totally pwns me in 1v1. I don't think this counts as being near my goal, though it is nice and a bit of a boost.
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Something to think about...
Star Dreams from Luke Pierson on Vimeo.
I saw this and thought it was a nice insight into the mindset of the pro gamer, or the gamer who would like to be pro!

Delays... and more Delays...
So after being all gun-ho to play a few hundred matches in a row whilst not getting up except to eat and go to the toilet, it turns out some things have gotten in the way. Some which are fun, and some which aren't.
Firstly the not so fun. A friend of mine was moving apartment so I helped him move all his shit. And let me tell you all now, moving a piano is NOT FUN! They are heavy. Very very heavy, and I think I hurt myself a little bit. As you can imagine, I'm a gamer so I'm not exactly at peak physical strength....
Something more fun is a friend of mine recently bought Starcraft 2 Which of course means that I've been showing him the ropes! We've been playing a few 2v2's in the practice league... which I'm not sure if that's cheating or not. But I guess it gives me a change to mess around a bit and have a laugh.
Need to get into some serious gameplay soon though...

It's come to my attention that some people who may be reading might not be sure of how the ladder system works, or if a casual gamer can get into it and not get punished for not putting hours and hours into the game. So here's an explanation of how it works.
There is a ladder system which has different leagues. There is Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Grandmaster.
Before being placed in a league you do a few qualifying matches to see what level you play at. So you can be number 1 in your league, but that being said it might be the silver league which means you still have room to improve, yet should be very happy about your successes!
After a while, it will place you against people from a higher league than you to test your skill and see if you need to be moved up a league. It would be unfair to be practised enough to be in Diamond league and be in the silver league dominating everyone that stands in your way.
I plan to achieve Master/Grandmaster level of play, as I said in previous posts. At the moment I play at Gold/Platinum level which is quite low considering my aim. But hopefully we'll see the improvement along the way.
Because of this ladder system, I believe Starcraft 2 to be quite accessible to a wide audience. From casual 20 minutes a week to hardcore hours and hours a day, there's a space for everyone in Starcraft 2. Even if you just want to mess around and play, there's always custom games too. Which I will explain in the future, as that's a whole other section.
