So after playing some 'warm up' games to get me into I find myself having perfect starts. My supply doesn't block, my drones in perfect timing. I do different builds to get me into each one. After it goes well in warm up I decide to go straight into my first ladder game.
Oh boy the pressure got to me. I mess up so badly that I lose the first 4 games by simple rushes, I got a bit disheartened to the whole idea to be honest. But I must continue my quest to the top! I ended up winning the 5th game, I got 4 gated by Protoss but this time I scouted more with my Overlords and placed Spine Crawlers. Success! Turns out these bad boys are better than I first thought! I must use them more...
I ended up using them so much in game 6 and 7 that I didn't actually have any units and got destroyed by Siege Tanks... Excellent.
I must do more research and learn some more techniques...

Would you recommend it to someone who hasn't played Starcraft before?

ReplyDeleteYes I would definitely, if you're into this style of games. There are many different leagues for different levels of play so everyone can enjoy it no matter how competitive you are. I really should make a blog explaining this maybe...
wow, you are a legit gamer i see
ReplyDeleteI have yet to play Starcraft II :3
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw the title of your blog I lol'd. Congrats on getting into sc2 tho, its a great game. Might I suggest picking an easier race than z4erg tho? perhaps protoss and 4gating every game?
ReplyDeleteNever got into Starcraft. Not much of an RTS guy. But good luck with it. Ive watched videos of people who are ridiculous at it.
